Hello again. So today I want to talk about a problem I’m having with Momo and MJ. In case you don’t know or don’t remember, Momo and MJ are my two wonderful dachshunds who are 4 and 3 respectively.
Anyways, for the past month or so I’ve started Momo and MJ on a raw food diet. I know I know. Sounds gross. But wait…I feed them the raw diet patties, but I cook them, so really they’re not raw, but they still have all the great nutrients inside of the patties for my doggies to eat.
Even if the vet did not reccommend cooking the patties, unless I was completely persuaded otherwise, I wouldn’t have fed my doggies the food raw. The vet said the raw food patties have pretty much everything a dog needs inside of them, but the patties also have parasites and such, which is why she reccommended I cook the raw patties to get kill off the parasites.
So I started off giving Momo and MJ these special raw food beef patties made especially for animals, and they LOVED them. Me and my mom would also mix in some extra stuff our vet reccommended, such as blueberries, brown rice, etc.
Then last week I decided to change up the menu for them, and I got them these special raw food duck patties made from a different company, and Momo and MJ just were not having it.
They would only eat a little bit of their food, and it was only the turkey pieces I mixed in.
Therefore, I bought another batch of those beef patties I originally bought for them, and for some reason Momo and MJ were not in love with it like they initially were. It’s been almost a week now, and I’m a bit concerned. I mean yes my doggies need to lose weight, but I still want them to get all their nutrients and eat the food I give them.
So I started thinking about what possibly could be causing this new behavior, and then it dawned on me. Starting in June, I began a new training program for Momo and MJ, which I read about in the book, “The Dog Listener” by Jan Fennell. Fennell talked about Amichien Bonding, and one part of that training involved me and every other person in my household establishing Alpha Leader status by eating something in front of the dogs right next to their food bowls and then after we’re finished eating we would then put down the bowls for the dogs to eat. If they walked away from the food then we would take their food away, and they would have to wait until the next meal time to eat.
After a week or so of doing this, I started to notice that Momo and MJ were getting better at meal times. For the most part, they would eat when someone in my household put their food bowls down. Unfortunately, as time went on everyone in the household were not being consistent with this training, and eventually it disappeared.
I am going to start doing the training again because Momo and MJ are not eating when their food bowls are placed on the ground for them. Hopefully, it’ll work again, and I have to remember that CONSISTENCY IS KEY TO TRAINING DOGS. I’ll let you guys know later how this training goes.
If any of you have any similar stories or advice to share please do. Can’t wait to hear from you all soon. Bye!

My dogs get both dog food and raw vegetables and some cooked chicken for every dinner. When we first started doing it, they would eat the fresh vegetables and meat, but leave the dog food. We increased the dog food and decreased the vegetables and meat and would take away the food if they didn’t eat everything making them hungry for their next meal. They seemed to get the point from that and so though they mostly eat fresh vegetables and meat now, they eat all their dog food as well. Inbetween meals, we bring them some lunch leftovers we have (carrots, cucumbers, bean sprouts, (no seasoned human food)) and we’ll share it with them where we eat a little and then give to each of them in turn according to alpha hierarchy and they’re really good about waiting their turn or until we give permission to eat. They absolutely are in LOVE with food now and haven’t had problems with their being picky.

If you struggle with perfectionism, then ask God to help you deeply understand that he loves you unconditionally. You can not earn your way into his love because he freely gives it. You not only need not be perfect; there is no way you can be perfect. Praise God for Jesus.

In my relationship with God there is an added dimension that is unlike any other relationship I will ever have. God already knows my opinion, emotions and feelings on everything including my thoughts about HIM.
On the complete hand why would I need to Appreciation Him when things are bad? But I judge that is the point. My reliance and devotion to Jesus is not based on “how am I doing at the moment?” It is like being a “fair brave fan.” I chance it easier to lift up in compensation my sports team when they are victorious and survive down on them when they lose.

in any case undertake to be optimistic, thorough and look on the bright side, look in behalf of the sterling lining. But today I am common to acknowldge to myself I am not sense very optimistic. There are a numerous of issues in my exuberance true promptly that are random, unresolved, in abeyance and some forebodding and I am worried and anxious.
I had mentioned heretofore that we were praying in the service of a quite special intention. Genius Blessed us answering our divine service and granted us immeasurably more than we were praying for. These days I caress a learned sense of thanksgiving and bashfulness realizing that God in the final analysis did intervene and the outcome was more than expected.

Irrevocably, brothers, whatever is happen, whatever is lordly, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is fetching, whatever is fine—if anything is notable or admirable—ruminate over about such things.
